“We recently had some remodeling done on our home. During the process, we encountered a few unexpected problems, one of which was, after being out of our house for two weeks, we returned home to find our basement carpet saturated with water, which was still dripping heavily from the ceiling, where several ceiling tiles were water-logged and clearly destroyed. This was the result of a small nick in the refrigerator water line, the cause of which may have been a nail driven into the new wood floor above. Eller arrived at our home within 10 minutes of our call, shut the leak off, and used a shop vac to pick up the water from the carpet. They then left an industrial fan to help dry the basement. Over the next several days, Eller returned to our home to replace the damaged water line, and then went above and beyond to find and install replacement ceiling tiles. Incredibly, they didn't stop there; they also tracked down and delivered a replacement for an issue of Life Magazine from April 8, 1946 – a magazine that was purchased by my father-in-law on the date of my husband's birth – that was destroyed by the water.
Who does that? No company with which we have ever dealt, and there have been plenty. We've used Eller for all of our plumbing needs for the past 12 years and we will continue to use them as long as we live in Michigan. We think everyone should!”

We trust him completely, and know we can always count on him to solve and repair our problems. He is kind, always explains what he is doing, and is a pleasure to have in our home. I wouldn’t trust the maintenance of our furnace to anyone else. He is an expert.

“We asked Eller Services to install a new gas line as part of a conversion from an electric range to a gas stove. The estimate was fast, fair and accurate. Eller scheduled the work quickly and the crew arrived on time. During the installation, there was an issue with our (older home’s) wiring that only became apparent later on. Eller stepped up and sent a crew out to fix it. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and professionalism. We will definitely go to Eller first if we need a plumber/HVAC technician again!”

“Within 2 hours of my initial phone call, Matt, my technician, was at my house.
It took him 20 minutes to find the problem with my furnace, that my previous company, Thermal Pros, could not find in 4 days. He fixed the problem, and reinstalled my Nest (which Thermal Pros had removed), all in under an hour.
I am VERY pleased with Eller Services, and especially with my technician, Carl Stephens. They are now my heating/cooling/plumbing “go to” guys!”

We discussed a total package deal (furnace, humidifier, air-cleaner, thermostat) on a Trane furnace. His quote was well within reason and Ari answered all my questions so that I fully understood how the new model would operate, as compared with my older furnace. After receiving numerous quotes from other local heating companies, I had Eller Services install the new Trane furnace. Ari took his time to make sure we understood how to operate the new digital thermostat and continued to answer all questions to make sure everything was just right. Eller installers (Carl, Dave, and Terrell) did a wonderful job and were a pleasure to have around. They cleaned up 100%. Eller took care of all paperwork regarding rebates–I did not have to do anything, and all rebates were received within a couple of weeks. “About 1 week ago my roof top air conditioner broke. With my business being on Woodward, and the Dream Cruise right around the corner, I had to act fast. “When the motor on my furnace died on a brutally cold day this winter, I knew exactly who to call. Even though it was late in the evening, the kind dispatcher contacted the next available service technician. She kept in phone contact with me until he arrived.
Since I bought the furnace from Eller a couple years ago, I apparently had a service warranty (super bonus) and the service call was free. However they were out of the part, and had to order a different brand. The new part cost $200. The service tech was very honest and said we could wait for the warrantied part to be replaced or pay the $200. I went with the new part, and had a warm house within the hour.
Eller has replaced my furnace and water heater. I will not go anywhere else for my heating needs and highly recommend this company.”

“Our AC quit working. When they first came out to look at it they said the motor was bad and the line was blocked somewhere. Said he couldn’t do anything for us that day. No charge. Basically we needed a new motor or a whole new unit.
We opted for a whole new unit but when they came out to install it, they said the control board on the furnace was bad and that needed to be replaced, or the blowers wouldn’t blow. Third time they come out, they replaced the control board BUT they discovered the entire furnace needed to be replaced because our humidifier had backed out a bunch of sludge into the furnace and fried everything inside.
Honestly it all stemmed from poor workmanship when the house was built and the original unit was installed (about 10 years ago). In the end, we are happy with the service we received, we are glad they worked us through this entire process and explained everything in detail (my husband works a lot so I had to deal with much of this without him). Kevin is very knowledgeable. The guys were very honest and reasonable. Even the lady I spoke to on the phone was very patient and professional with me (I wish I remembered her name).
I just wish we would have known from the beginning about the sludge and that everything was going to have to be replaced versus this drawn out process. Why didn’t the first guy catch that? Never saw the first guy again. But my air is working now and I know I won’t have problems come this winter. I will definitely use them again if I ever have another problem!”
